Transnational Project Meeting (TPM)

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the successful completion of the Transnational Project Meeting (TPM), which took place on January 29th, 2024, in the scenic La Vall D’Uixò, located in the Province of Castellon, Spain. Our colleagues at the Low Carbon Economy headquarters graciously hosted the event, marking a significant milestone in innovative, collaborative efforts and European Union cooperation.

Despite the challenges posed by geographical separations and complex political landscapes, esteemed participants from Arces Collegio Universitario (Italy), Irbid National University (Jordan), and Palestine Polytechnic University (Palestine) attended the meeting, contributing both in person and virtually. This inclusive approach underscored our commitment to fostering dialogue and partnership across borders.

A particularly poignant moment was the insights shared by our Palestinian partners, who illuminated the current political context in Palestine and its repercussions for our collaborative endeavors. Their narratives underscored the importance of empathy and understanding in our collective pursuit of knowledge and mutual goals.

Under the astute leadership of the project coordinator, the assembly engaged in profound discussions on several pivotal matters. These included preparing our first periodic report, encapsulating the initial year of project execution, enhancing our communication and dissemination tactics, and anticipating our forthcoming training session. This session is poised to be a cornerstone of our capacity-building initiative, designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge.

Reflecting on the TPM, we are invigorated by the spirit of cooperation and the rich exchanges that characterized the event. These experiences reinforce our dedication to championing sustainability and impactful change across the Mediterranean region.

Remarkably, this TPM inaugurated a series of mobility experiences for our Palestinian and Jordanian colleagues, with scheduled on-site training activities in Castellon de La Plana to enrich their engagement further until the week’s conclusion.

We eagerly anticipate sharing additional developments as we progress with a reinforced sense of purpose and collective resolve.
